I am a psychotherapist in private practice with over 20 years experience working with individuals, couples and groups.
Some issues I have experience working with are depression, anxiety, adult survivors of sexual abuse, coming out, life and career transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and bereavement among others. I work with older adolescents and adults and see people in both individual and couples therapy. Coaching is also a part of my practice which can help people achieve a specific personal or professional goal. We will work together to integrate a therapeutic style that is right for you, whether that be a short-term focus or a more in-depth look at unresolved issues from the past that are affecting you today so you can better understand yourself, change the behaviors that are no longer working and feel more mindful and present in your daily life.
Drawing from personal experience in the arts, I enjoy working with creative and performing artists who may be dealing with creative blocks or other issues. I also teach, lead workshops, and supervise other therapists.
I hope, as you read on and learn more about my psychotherapy practice and the way I work with patients, that you will feel comfortable enough to contact me and find not only relief from debilitating symptoms but begin a unique journey to self understanding.
My office is centrally located in Midtown Manhattan just a few blocks from Madison Square Park.
